Woman Runs Across America to Raise Awareness of Brain Injury

09-Apr-2014

Jessica Goldman arrives in California today in preparation for her world record attempt to run across America while raising awareness of brain injury and funds for the Brain Injury Association of America.

Please join us on Wednesday, April 16th at 8:00 am on the steps of City Hall in San Francisco for Jessica's sendoff on her attempt to run more than 3.000 miles in a little more than 60 days.  Jessica will be running across the US using a modified jogging stroller filled with supplies and she will have a GPS tracking device that records her position every 10 minutes.  Jessica is realistic about her attempt at the record "I am planning on making a record attempt, but that is a secondary goal, " she said in a recent interview.  "My primary goal is to complete a run across the country and raise awareness and funds for the Brain Injury Association of America."
